I think it's time to stop fooling around & start drilling down to Butterfly Project Features/Visual details.
We need a robust web application (Google Wave like) to support a standalone application (Gtalk like).
Why we need a standalone application?
We want our users to create content while they surf & share it with their friends. We want to have Chatting feature. We want to have micro blogging feature.
Why we need a web application?
We want to have features similar to groups, forums, emailing (waving) & most importantly the "Like" button feature.
Now the picture is more clear - of - what we are up to. But where is the Search Engine Part?? Will all the content posted by user available for search??
In my next post we will define few of our own terminologies for the unique features we will have in The Butterfly Project. Please stay tuned :)
